STEP 2: Portfolio and essay

Essay 1 000-2 000 words in English that discusses candidate’s motivations to study crossmedia production, related career objectives or creative goals.
Portfolio Demonstrates candidate’s previous activities in one or more of the following fields:

  • audiovisual content production or other performative arts;
  • software or interactive content or service development;
  • business development.

Portfolio is effectively a collection of your completed works that could include, for instance, films in the making of which the candidate have participated, examples of websites the candidate has designed or developed, descriptions of business developments the candidate has been responsible for.

All projects included into the portfolio should be, if applicable, represented both by visual or audiovisual materials as well as short written descriptions that specify the time when were these produced, the scope of the project and the candidate’s role in their execution.

The examination committee might ask for additional information if the data in candidate’s portfolio is not sufficiently detailed. If candidate’s audiovisual productions or other sorts of visual or audio materials are already uploaded to the Internet and could be freely accessed for examination the hyperlinks to these materials are sufficient and no CDs, DVDs or other sorts of data carriers should not be mailed to BFM.
