BFM provides students with free facilities and equipment to concieve, develop, shoot and finalise film and TV productions in a professional environment. Our Production Center is equipped with professional video, audio and post-production gear that allows students to create a wide range of film, TV and new media content.
BFM equipment and facilities can also be rented for commercial use.

Media Archive |
Media Archive stores BFM student productions. Submitting the final project master and supporting materials to the archive is the last step in the production process. Media archive database allows searching and previewing of graduation films, course projects and practical assignments produced during courses in BFM.Project Archiving Form |
Equipment Storage |
The equipment storage room holds cameras, tripods, field monitors, sound equipment, and portable lighting kits for smaller productions.Film Studio equipment storage room holds lighting and grip equipment. |
TV Studio |
TV Studio (112 m²) is equipped with professional cameras and studio lighting.The studio control room allows students to mix several video sources. The output can be captured directly to the central SAN Media Server enabling the students to start editing as soon as the production in TV Studio has finished. |
Film Studio |
The studio has one soundstage (170 m²). Students can build their own sets using the doors, windows and blank wall set pieces. These panels can be interlocked to create a wide variety of interior configurations.The lighting and grip equipment is stored next to the soundstages and can also be used for exterior shoots in location. Students can use professional film lighting and grip equipment. There is a make-up and dressing room with wireless Internet connection. Students have additional access to the the Estonian Television’s props and decorations. |
Cinema Hall |
There are 108 seats in the Cinema Hall. It is also used as an auditorium. |
