IMPORTANT DATES for Fall semester 2010
Applying for academic leave - until 06.09
Extending academic leave - until 03.09
Applying for re-immatriculation, presenting individual study plans - until 10.09
Registration for courses - until 13.09
Applying for study allowance - from 15.09 until 01.10
REGISTRATION FOR COURSES
You have to register for all courses you intend to take. With registration you take on the responsibility to pass the exams or finish graded assessments. You can drop the course during 2 first weeks of lectures.
ACADEMIC LEAVE
You can apply for academic leave once during each study level (BA, MA) for up to one year. For medical reasons ,it is possible to extend the academic leave to two years, and with child birth up to three years. For all other reasons (economic reasons, working abroad, etc.) it is possible to apply for academic leave only in the beginning of the semester. Deadline for applying for academic leave is the first day of classes on each semester. All students on academic leave have to pay the administrative fee (20 EUR per semester).
STATE-FUNDED STUDY PLACES
Vacant state-funded places are filled in the beginning of the semester. Students wishing to apply for vacant places have to submit an application by the first day of classes of each semester. Places are distributed based on grade rankings and number of accumulated credit points.
